The Projects page is where you can see all the projects associated with your test management platform. It provides a clear summary of each project, along with key details and actions you can take. Let’s go over each section on this page.

1. Project Name

The Name column shows the title of the project. In this example:

  • The project name is DemoAccount1.

  • Underneath the name, you can see the creation details: this project was created by the Software Tester on November 11, 2024, at 6:02 PM (IST).

This helps you keep track of who created the project and when it was initialized.

2. Company

The Company column lists the company or client associated with the project. In this case:

  • The company is DemoAccount.

  • You can also add new projects by clicking on the "Create Project" button located at the top right of the page. This allows you to set up new projects and assign team members to them directly.

3. Email

The Email column shows the contact email for the project. If you need to reach out or manage project-related notifications, you can use this address.

4. Framework

The Framework column indicates the test framework being used for this project. Here, the framework is:

  • Playwright.

5. Health

The Health column displays a percentage representing the overall health of the project. Health is generally based on factors like the success rate of test cases, failure rates, and stability. In this example:

  • The health of the project is 75%.

6. Actions

The Action column allows you to manage the project with various controls:

  • Invite Icon: Allows you to manage team members or users associated with the project.

When you click on the Invite User icon, you’ll see a Invite Team Member modal.

This modal allows you to invite a new team member to your project and define their role and permissions.

  • First, enter first name, last name, and email address in the designated section.
  • Role: Use the dropdown to assign a role to the team member. In this example, the role is set to QA_MANAGER. You can choose different roles based on their responsibilities, such as QA_MANAGER, TEST_ANALYST, and USER.
  • You can choose Company and Project in it too.
  • Below the basic information and role selection, there’s a list of permissions. Here are the available options: View Report, Upload Report, Invite User, View Team, Create Company, Create Project, Invite Project, Invite Report, Create Role, Maven Plugin, Guest User, Slack Integration, Jira Integration.
  • On the basis of Role provided, permissions are pre-provided.
  • Once all the information is filled in and role has been provided, click the blue Invite button to send an invitation to the team member.
